About Joey:

Joey was born and raised on Indian Island, Maine.  Joey has 4 brothers Charlie, Frankie, Johnny, David, and a sister April.  Joey's mother passed away in 1984 and his father recently retired at the age of 76 from the Penobscot Nation Warden's Service.  Joey still lives on Indian Island today with his wife Tammy and granddaughter Ciara.  Joey has 3 children, 2 daughters  MorningStar, Alicia, and a son Neil.

At an early age, it was clear that Joey had Elvis's music in his blood.  His mother used to tell him that he would dance around to Elvis records she used to play.  As he grew older, he learned to appreciate other kinds of music as well, including the Beatles and other rock artists that his brother Frankie had introduced him to.  But Elvis continued to hold a special grip on his heart and when all of his friends were listening to 70's and 80's music, Joey was honing his skills as an Elvis Tribute Artist.

Unlike the many Elvis impersonators who dominate the club and concert scene, Joey doesn't try to "be" Elvis on stage.  Instead, he pays homage to the man and his songs through the music itself.  Joey's voice captures Elvis's sound and style as he recreates some of the King's most memorable hits.

When he's not singing Elvis's music, some of Joey's hobbies are biking, hiking, and carving.  Joey's fulltime job is the Fire Chief of the Penobscot Nation Fire Department.  Please take the time to check out the website and we hope you enjoy it!
